Speedweek - Log 1 8/8/2019

So here we start - The road to the famous Bonneville Salt Flats.

 The trip from LAX to Reno, Nevada was an interesting one to say the least.  It started with American Airlines bumping me off of the flight due to overbooking on the aircraft, even though I had booked my flight two weeks in advance - what's the point in booking in advance then?

 Anyways, I finally arrived in Reno.  Once in Reno, we ventured to Wendover which turned out to be quite rough!  Super-sized hail, 60 mph head winds turning into cross winds, lightning, sheets of pouring rain... Oh, and to top it off, multiple sand storms crossed our path as well.  So ends the first day of our travels and it was as eventful as could be - let's see what tomorrow brings!
